ColorSpace X ColorTemperature v3.3 for the Substance Suite

0 ratings

Filter comprising several tools for smart color work, replacing the need for other packages like Nuke or Resolve.

1) Change between Color Spaces without leaving Substance Painter / Designer.

From/To:

  • sRGB
  • DCI-P3 -D65-
  • Rec.2020
  • ACEScg
  • AdobeRGB (convert your Panoramas from AdobeRGB to sRGB or ACEScg)

2) Additionally or exclusively change Color Temperature of your color maps following a mathematically accurate chromatic adaptation of daylight illuminant.

In/Out:

3000K-12000K

3) Saturation X Vibrance sliders: You can adjust saturation according to the output ColorSpace and adjust the Vibrance slider to desaturate highly saturated or saturate desaturated areas, or the inverse.

4) PBR Gamut Warning button, so you know when you've gone too far.

5) HUE vs SAT controls (x3), to increase or decrease saturation based on hue (choose color picker or simply pick a color in the RGB color chart)

6) HUE vs HUE controls (x3), change hue by picking or choosing a hue angle with the color picker or through the hue slider.

7) LUM vs SAT controls (x3), to increase or decrease saturation based on luminosity (use slider or simply use the color picker)

* The filter has issues when the BaseColor channel format is Float, likely a Substance Painter bug.
